Dr. Simone De Liberato, CTO of Sensorium Technological Laboratories and Professor of Quantum Nanophotonics at the University of Southampton has been awarded the title of Optica Fellow "For sustained contributions to our understanding of the extreme coupling regimes of light-matter interactions in solid-state cavity quantum electrodynamics".
The Board of Directors of Optica, formerly known as the Optical Society of America, the leading professional association advancing research and development in optics and photonics worldwide, elected 121 members from 27 countries to the Society’s 2025 Fellow Class. Optica Fellows are selected based on several factors, including outstanding contributions to research, business, education, engineering, and service to Optica and the optics and photonics community.
